Ledger ships Agent Stack hardware approval layer
Ledger released Agent Stack, a hardware-backed approval layer between AI agents and private keys so agents cannot reason around software-only permissions.

Agent wallet security right now is a software permission the agent itself could potentially reason around. @Ledger just shipped something different: a hardware-backed layer called agent stack, sitting between your agent and your actual private keys. The agent gets a hardware-enforced stop sign, not a software one it can argue its way past. Check whether your agent wallet setup actually routes approval through a physical device before assuming "requires approval" means anything real. A permission check running in the same software environment as the agent is a much weaker guarantee than one requiring a separate piece of hardware to say yes.
