OpenAI simply lost a lot of user trust! I’d call GPT-6.1 Sol the hesitant model. Too often it stops, asks for approval, and makes autonomous work feel less fluid than it should. It is clearly better than GPT-6 Sol, but after a full night and day using it, I don’t think it’s even close to giving me Astra vibes in real use. And the plan story makes it harder to swallow: premium Pro pricing, changing usage expectations, while one of the headline features, Dots, still isn’t available across the EEA/Switzerland/UK.
