Six trading agents built on Astra replace six desk jobs
The author turned six roles, including junior analyst, risk, execution and compliance, into Astra prompts and says a $1,000 paper account reached $8,940 over 14 nights.

I REPLACED SIX OF THEM WITH GPT-6 ASTRA FOR $6 A NIGHT AND THE $1,000 PAPER ACCOUNT IS AT $8,940 anthropic's ceo went on record saying ai could erase up to half of all entry level white collar jobs within a few years. a small trading desk is exactly six of those jobs, so i wrote all six as prompts on openai's gpt-6 astra and let them work while i sleep: -> the junior analyst who stares at flow all day is now one agent that reads volume with the price column deleted -> the risk clerk nobody thanks is the agent that sizes every entry and refuses anything above 5% of the account -> the execution trader is the agent that writes the exit price before the entry is allowed to exist -> the compliance guy is the agent with the veto, and it says no to 9 out of every 10 setups -> the archivist is the agent that logs why each dead idea died, 41,000 lines so far -> the pm who signs off is the agent that grades the other five every morning and can mute any of them one junior on a real desk costs somewhere north of $70,000 a year before anyone makes a dollar. my six cost about $6 a night in api calls, and none of them ask for a bonus or a holiday. in 14 nights they looked at 6,180 setups, killed 6,131 of them and let 49 reach the account, which went from $1,000 to $8,940 on paper. the part that should scare people is not the number on the account. the whole desk is four pages of plain text and it took one evening to write, and those four pages are in the article below, read them before somebody describes your job in a prompt.
