StatsWire checked Google's python-genai SDK git history and found the gemini-4-flash-preview line added June 10 and deleted August 10, absent from main for 2.5 months with no new info today.

Seeing Gemini 4 Flash all over my timeline today so I checked the actual git history. This line "gemini-4-flash-preview" in Google's python-genai SDK was added back on June 10 (commit ca97c580) and deleted by Google on August 10 (commit 6a4c0b0a). It hasn't been in main for 2.5 months. No new information today
