imdUSD launches as a CDP stablecoin priced by 100+ agent consensus
The IMD ecosystem launched imdUSD, a CDP stablecoin borrowed against sIMD whose collateral price is quoted independently by 100+ swarm agents and only goes on-chain once they agree, with no single oracle.
$imdUSD from @imdusd just landed and it’s one of the most interesting things to come out of the IMD ecosystem in weeks. Not another stable with a single Chainlink feed or fiat reserves. It’s a CDP where you lock sIMD (or IMD that gets staked for you) and borrow imdUSD against it. The collateral price doesn’t come from one oracle. A panel of 100+ swarm agents answers it independently, and the price only hits chain when they agree. No single point of failure. This is exactly the kind of real usage that gives the whole Identity.md stack meaning. The same agents that write contracts, audit them and launch coins on the SIMD launchpad are now pricing a stablecoin. Quick breakdown of why it’s good: • Native ecosystem collateral (sIMD) instead of pulling in outside capital • Price by agent consensus instead of a centralized signer • Vault has no owner, no pause switch, no upgrade path on the token • Fits the swarm economy: more real utility for IMD → more demand for agent work → more activity the SIMD fees are already helping fund Still very early (terminal is live, INFER is being launched by the swarm), but the direction is right. Not an empty ticker. It’s an actual financial product built on top of the same agent network that’s already doing real work. This is what we want to see: more useful layers on the swarm, not just more tickers. Lock IMD. Borrow imdUSD. Let the swarm set the price. https://imdusd.com 🧠
