Union Alpha builds its own research subagent to make a row-bot animation from one prompt

Given a single prompt to research row-bot and produce a technical animation in pure HTML/Canvas, Union Alpha spawned a research subagent, hit repeated disconnects and rate limits, and delivered a 109-second, nine-scene result that passed a browser smoke test.

I wanted to test @unionalphaai Union Alpha's real world capabilities, so I gave it a task similar to Qwen 3.8 27B yesterday (check out that post for a comparison - https://x.com/sydsachar/status/2100174261289648329?s=20). One prompt - one shot: "I want to test the current model to the extreme. Use it to generate an animation about row-bot. Research what row-bot is and generate a detailed technical animation that's tests the models abilities. Do not use image or video generation. Lets see what the model can do." It created a research subagent for the research while the parent built the animation: It did have some hiccups, like the connection dropping or being rate limited a few times: "Nothing catastrophic, sir - just the provider connection dropping mid-turn again (same as before; each time, completed work on disk survives). Quick status: I wrote a Python patch script that fixes ~50 defects (a missing helper call in the PROMPT scene, a malformed wave() call, broken colour lookups, missing caption timings, a fixed 1600×900 virtual stage so nothing breaks on odd window sizes, plus honesty fixes - all sample people/actions/numbers now labelled illustrative, added a Sources dialog with attribution and an accessible summary). The script exists but hasn't been run yet. Running it now, then I'll collect the review agent's findings." But finally it came back with: "The animation is now saved and tested: - 109 seconds, nine technical scenes - Pure HTML, JavaScript and Canvas - no image or video generation - Play/pause, scene navigation, scrubbing and a sources panel - All nine scenes passed the browser smoke test, with no JavaScript or console errors - The same-model Review agent also completed; its main factual and labelling issues were addressed. This is a runtime-tested prototype, not a fully visually audited production animation." Union Alpha is free to use in http://Row-Bot.ai for a week. Seems like a great model. only if they fix the rate limit issues. Make the most of it
