Stanford lab puts Jev in front of Claude Code to filter data first
Jev screens out boring and obvious data points first and sends only ambiguous samples to Claude Code, with the lab claiming 65 billion data points processed every 9 minutes.
this is absolutely f*cking impossible guys. a Stanford research lab is using JEV + Claude Code to chew through 65B+ data points every 9 minutes. but Claude isn’t reading 65 billion things. that’s the whole trick. JEV stands at the door. every data point hits JEV first: > boring? drop it > obvious? handle it > uncertain? send it upstairs > only the weird, ambiguous stuff earns a trip to Claude. so instead of burning frontier-model compute on millions of easy decisions: 100B+ data points -> JEV -> tiny interesting pile -> Claude Code Claude gets to do what expensive models are actually good at: thinking about the hard stuff. it’s basically putting a ridiculously fast bouncer in front of your smartest AI. > JEV filters. > Claude investigates. > code executes. stop paying your smartest model to do the dumbest work.
