Device-trial Google AI Pro now gets Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity
A user clarifies that Google AI Pro trials from Pixel and other device purchases now include Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity, while Opus/Sonnet 5.5 still require a paid Pro plan.
Good news: If you got a trial Google AI Pro plan with a device purchase (eg. Pixel phones).. You'll now get Gemini 4 Argon with your sub in Agy.. The quoted post is mostly fake news btw!! Let me explain.. So what happened is that yesterday, a lot of Jio promo GAI Pro trials ended after their 18 month period. The users who still had it (the ones who claimed it in later months) are saying they got Argon along with Opus & Sonnet 5.5.. which is not true!! If you have a Pixel or any other device through which you got the trial sub, only those will have Argon.. for Opus & Sonnet 5.5 you still need a paid Pro plan..
