Anthropic launched Claude Duet based on the good feedback of Opus 5.5. But how does it stack up against Grok Bot, OpenAI Dots (GPT-6 Astra) and Meta Muse? Here are 8 things I've learned so far from reports: 1. Price: Duet $20/mo, Grok Bot $30, Dots $100. Muse is mostly free. 2. Integrations: Duet claims 6,000+ vs Dot's 4,000+. 3. Multi-agent: Grok Bots collaborate and delegate work. Duet uses one ongoing thread. 4. Learning: Grok Bot learns workflows by watching you. Duet inherits Claude's memory and skills. 5. Computer access: Dots can use your laptop. Duet can't even show its browser yet, they have limited tooling as reported. 6. Autonomy: Dots offers customizable approval rules. Duet requires approval for sending, paying and deleting. 7. Security: Muse uses a separate Sentinel agent. Duet uses a dedicated classifier against sensitive-data leaks. 8. Usage: Duet's background checks eat your regular Claude limits. Grok Bot shares usage with Grok/Cursor on unified plans. And Duet is still on a US waitlist. So some of these observations can change later after testing. My take is that Opus 5.5's intelligence alone won't settle this race, the agent needs to be empowered with the right tools.
