Gemini 4 Argon employees say benchmarks don't translate to real coding tasks
Citing Bloomberg, TokenGremlin says employees with direct access to Gemini 4 Argon believe its strong benchmark results don't carry over to real-world tasks, especially coding, and call the unreleased model dead on arrival.
Employees with direct access to Gemini 4 Argon said that the great benchmark results being announced don’t always translate that well to real-world tasks, especially coding, according to Bloomberg. The model hasn’t even launched yet, it won’t be coming to the public anytime soon, and we already have employees basically saying the benchmarks are fake, just in nicer, more corporate language. That’s what I call a model being dead on arrival, when even its own team doesn’t trust its potential.
