A day after Grok Voice 3.0 topped the speech leaderboard, OpenAI launched GPT-Live-1.1 across ChatGPT, Codex and dots with new voices, better accents and fewer waiting pauses.

Just a day after SpaceXSI launched Grok Voice 3.0, OpenAI is rolling out GPT-Live-1.1 with new voices, better accents, and fewer of those annoying "checking..." moments across ChatGPT, Codex, and dots. Grok Voice 3.0 just took the #1 spot on Artificial Analysis's Speech-to-Speech Index, and now OpenAI is stepping up its voice experience too. I'm genuinely excited to test both side by side and see how they perform in real conversations.
