Congratulations to @dee_hw and the @autonomous_labs team on securing #2 Product of the Day on Product Hunt on October 16. What makes Harness interesting isn't just that it brings multiple AI coding agents into one place. It's that it tackles a problem developers face once they start running agents in parallel. Imagine Claude Code working on one task, Codex handling another on a different machine, and a third agent waiting for your approval. Each agent may be capable, but switching between machines and answering every interruption creates a new bottleneck. Harness brings those sessions together in one command center. You can monitor agents across machines, respond to questions from your phone, and let tasks keep running even after closing the desktop app. There's another detail I find particularly promising: each agent can work in its own branch, while sensitive actions can still require human approval. That matters because giving agents more autonomy shouldn't mean giving up control. What stands out to me is the focus on reducing the human bottleneck in agent workflows. The next challenge for AI developers isn't only getting agents to do more. It's coordinating their work, handling interruptions, and keeping people in control without slowing everything down. Harness is tackling that coordination layer with an open source product that works with agents developers already use. That's a practical direction, not just another AI interface.
