Developer urges OpenAI and rivals to buy Jev, saying the UX contract was broken

A developer and user argues that Jev broke the assumption that decision engines must run on huge, dangerous models, and says frontier labs should acquire the company.

if I am OpenAI/Google/Anthropic/SpaceXAI, I'd buy Jev this weekend, no matter the price ($50B). The risk is Wall Street pricing the narrative and momentum at multiples of that in years ahead, while discounting the frontier labs themselves. Unless the Jevons Paradox here also further exponentially increases the use of LLMs. I say this, as a user and a developer - our UX contract was broken. We were told computer use and other decision engine utility had to be worth 100x more as provided by "models too big and too dangerous to be used by society", but we are finding out a significantly better way was feasible. We just needed good agentic engineering systems, not philosophy. We were given a space pen, when we needed a pencil. So if Jev the company comes out with a LLM next, I am using it next. The founder seems like someone I can trust. In my opinion he is not selling a decision engine, but trust. And he can back into the entirety of the frontier lab stack backwards from here on, if he wants. From a revenue perspective, we are in a race to zero. And that's good for society. Jevons Paradox. We are playing Inception - and this will take a while to unwrap, but Jev has put a dent in the universe.
