So at DevDay, OpenAI released GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast, which is supposed to be the most cost-efficient and responsive model on the market. But Anthropic's Claude 5.5 models are the ones getting the praise. Opus 5.5 >> GPT-6.1 Sol + GPT-6 Astra Sonnet 5.5 >> GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast So much for the comeback. If GPT-6.1 Astra isn't a good answer, Anthropic has won 2026 even without releasing Fable 5.5
