It's settled, then Anthropic has just won the frontier race for 2026. GPT-6.1 Astra was meant to be released this early October (probably today), but it was withheld due to regressive attributes Anthropic is planning what looks like a double drop: Haiku and Fable (5.5 family) That makes sense, given Anthropic's plans to go public while Sam and OpenAI are undecided about where they stand. Next week is about to be a movie
