Gemini 4 Argon pricing and rollout order surface ahead of launch
A roundup says Argon launches today at $4/$20 globally, $2/$10 for Flex/Batch and $0.20 cached input, rolling out first to paid API customers and AI Ultra subscribers with a focus on coding and creative writing.

Gemini 4 Argon 100% Dropping Today After several hints from Logan in the past weeks, and Google's CEO saying its public release is close, we finally got a confirmation. Logan just hinted at Gemini, and with everything else happening, Argon could finally be rolling out today. (I would assume this is because of Meta's Muse Wonder release that happened yesterday.) What we know so far: - Global: $4 input / $20 output - Flex/Batch: $2 input / $10 output - Cached input: $0.20/M global, $0.10/M Flex/Batch - Frontier-level coding, knowledge work, cybersecurity defense and creative writing - Rollout starts with paid API customers + Google AI Ultra subscribers - Developers, enterprises and consumers follow - The latest Antigravity update and Antigravity CLI both have references to Gemini 4 Argon - Google's SKU pricing page already has Argon listed, so the discounted pricing should be available at launch Google has kept us waiting almost 7 months for its next Pro model. First Gemini 3.5 got cancelled, then came months of testing. Hopefully it was worth it. If Argon delivers, Google could be back in the frontier race. Now let's see if they ship it today.
