Critic says Astra's Computer Use was overhyped as AGI
The post argues Astra's Computer Use was quickly called AGI despite being far from it, while Anthropic never branded Opus 5.5 as AGI yet leads across fields.

This just shows how far behind OpenAI is compared to Anthropic. What’s funny is how Astra brought Computer Use and so many people were quick to call it AGI, when it wasn’t even a fraction of that. Opus 5.5, arguably the best model right now, wasn’t given the AGI title by Anthropic, yet it does what the best models from other AI labs can do at a far more advanced level across basically every field. At this point, it’s Anthropic vs Anthropic. while OpenAI is competing with Google, Meta, and the Chinese AI labs.
