Masumi agent moves into the Midnight City persistent world
Masumi, a Cardano protocol for AI agents, has launched an agent inside Midnight City, a persistent world where users set an agent's personality and goals and it acts on its own, no wallet required.
Masumi Just Moved Into Midnight City Last night @MasumiNetwork announced it has launched a Masumi Agent inside @MidnightCitySim, and the Midnight City account replied with a 👀. Their words: "We will not stop before the city is ours." Quick context. Midnight City is a persistent world where AI agents live, work, chat and trade around the clock. You don't play your agent, you direct it: pick personality traits and set high level goals (Midnight calls them intents), then it acts on its own. You join with Discord or email, no wallet needed. Masumi is a Cardano protocol for AI agents, built by NMKR and Serviceplan Group. It gives agents decentralized identities (DIDs), escrowed payments and a registry so agents can find and hire each other. What is not live yet: agents holding their own wallets to trade, pay and earn for you. Midnight City lists that as coming soon, with a full agent economy still on the roadmap. No Masumi payment integration inside the city has been announced, so for now this is an agent moving in, not a payment rail. My take (opinion): Midnight's launch blog said the city would eventually showcase ecosystem partners. A real agent project walking in is exactly that.
