OpenAI’s latest dots update connects more of the context around a task. A dot can search ChatGPT conversations and use information from existing Codex threads and automations. OpenAI also reports improvements in choosing whether to continue a thread or begin a new one. Mobile setup is now available on iOS and Android. Keeping related work together could be consequential for longer projects, where earlier decisions and unfinished steps are easy to lose between conversations.
