Quant desk agent roles: Jev gives a yes or no on every candle

Research, signal, red team and review roles are split across Opus, Sonnet, Haiku, Jev and Grok, with Jev deciding yes or no on each candle.

EVERYONE ASKS WHICH AI MODEL IS BEST. A QUANT DESK WOULD LAUGH AT THE QUESTION I MAPPED HOW A JANE STREET-STYLE DESK SPLITS WORK ONTO OPUS 5.5, SONNET 5.5, HAIKU 5.5, JEV AND GROK. 4 STACKS, 4 PROMPTS. ONE AGENT HAS A JOB NO HUMAN TRADER WANTS i don't work at jane street. but quant shops don't run on one genius, they run on a desk where nobody trades alone. so i wired agents the same way → research: grok reads x all night, sonnet 5.5 reads the filings, opus 5.5 writes the thesis → signal: haiku 5.5 scores hundreds of tickers at once, jev says yes or no on every candle → red team: a second opus gets the thesis and one order. find why it loses money → review: every night sonnet reads the journal and rewrites the prompt line that cost the most the red team is the seat people skip. it's the one i'd never cut the rule under all 4: the models never size a trade and never place an order. plain code does. a model can talk itself into anything. a max-loss line in python can't one prompt to start, the other 3 are in the picture: "you did not write this thesis and you don't like it. give the strongest reason it loses money, the price that proves it, and what the author missed. no hedging" honestly the best stack isn't the smartest model. it's the one that's allowed to kill your idea paper account first. not financial advice be honest, would you let an AI veto your trades?
