Tax pipeline: Grok Bot gathers, Opus 5.5 reads rules, Jev verifies deductions
Grok Bot collected 1,284 documents, Opus 5.5 mapped IRS rules, and Jev scored each deduction's evidence probability, dropping anything under 0.90 and keeping $6,140 in deductions.
ELON SAYS TRY GROK BOT. I TRIED IT ON MINE: $6,140 IN DEDUCTIONS I'D MISSED. AND 2 LINES THAT WOULD'VE HANDED THE IRS A 20% PENALTY grok bot is scary good at the boring part. it went through my email, pay stubs and loan statements while i slept and handed me a full draft nobody in that thread mentions the catch: the bot doesn't sign the return. you do if a line is wrong, the irs takes the missing tax, interest, and 20% of the underpayment on top. "my ai said so" isn't a box on the form so no single agent got to do it alone. every seat got one job: → GROK BOT gathers. w-2, 1099s, 1098-E, the car loan statement. 1,284 docs. it never decides what counts → OPUS 5.5 reads the rules. every deduction comes with the form line and a link to the irs page → JEV proves it or kills it. it can't write a single word. one question per line: "is there a document that proves this?" yes or no, with a probability. under 0.90 = off the return → me: one page, one signature what made it in (the new 2025–2028 deductions most people skip): → overtime: only the "half" of time-and-a-half counts. $9,360 of OT pay → $3,120 → car loan interest: $1,840. new car, personal use, final assembly in the us, loan taken after 2024 → student loan interest: $1,180, sitting in a 1098-E i never opened what jev killed: → home office, $2,600. i'm on a w-2, employees can't take it. jev: 0.04 → interest on the used car, $1,400. the new rule is new cars only. jev: 0.06 both looked perfect in the draft. that's the problem with a draft written by a model that wants to help $6,140 in deductions is ~$1,350 back at a 22% bracket. not life-changing. the 2 lines it deleted are why i'd run it again the bot fills the form. your name signs it the jev gate, copy it ↓ for every deduction line, ask jev 2 typed questions: has_proof: noul → "a document in /docs proves this amount and this eligibility" rule_fits: noul → "the irs rule opus linked applies to this taxpayer" code keeps a line only if both > 0.90. everything else goes to an "ask a cpa" list, never onto the return
