Two weeks with DeepSeek V4.1 Flash: near-perfect backend, UI still goes to Opus
After two weeks of driving DeepSeek V4.1 Flash from Claude for code, the user says backend work is near-flawless and limits drain slower, while UI and visual tasks still go to Opus.
deepseek v4.1 flash’ı 2 haftadır kullanıyorum. yeni update’den sonra çok iyi hale geldi. claude’a yönettiriyorum bu modeli tamamen, kodu buna yazdırıyorum. limit daha yavaş doluyor, backend tarafında kusursuza yakın. ui ve görsel işlerini hala opus a yaptırıyorum, o farklı bir seviyede. ucuz diye kötü sanmayın bu modeli lütfen :(
you cant plug it in as a model, claude only runs claude. what i do: claude code (cli or the code tab in desktop) calls opencode from bash as a subagent, like opencode run --model opencode-go/deepseek-v4.1-flash "task + exact file paths" claude plans and reviews the diff, the cheap model writes the code
