Gemini 4 Argon tops Vals Index at launch price of $2/$10 per million tokens
A poster says Gemini 4 Argon ranks first on the Vals Index and sits near the frontier on the AA Index, launching at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens as the start of the Gemini 4 series.

Gemini 4 is here. Always knew Google was playing the long game and most definitely cooking their way to the top of the board. Google just released Gemini 4 Argon and early benchmarks look ridiculously good. We got Google at the frontier now. I’ve been saying for months that we’re probably about to see the best of DeepMind. They’ve spent the last year getting stupidly good across everything, while making Flash cheaper and good enough to become the workhorse. Argon feels like all of this starting to come together; Plus even better, the start to the Gemini 4 series. ➥ It’s already #1 on Vals Index, and AA Index has it right around the frontier too. ➥ Best part is it’s launching at just $2/M input and $10/M output. Good job to the team fr. They definitely were cooking, plus I’m lowkey glad my faith in them didn’t turn to shit.
