Personal agents crowd the field like China's group-buying wars, with trust as the moat
A developer compares the wave of personal agents such as Muse, Instinct, Dots, Hark and Fo to the group-buying wars of a decade ago, arguing that letting third parties take over calendars, accounts and private data is a high bar and that trust is the real moat.
Personal agents are everywhere lately: @Muse, @instinct, Dots, Hark @hark_labs, Fo @wajo_ai ... It reminds me of China's group-buying wars more than 10 years ago. Hundreds of Groupon clones launched, and only 2–3 survived :) Letting a third-party agent take over your calendar, your accounts and your personal data is a big ask. Trust is the real moat here. If @Apple built one, it might come out ahead, given how seriously it takes user privacy.
