Claude Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6 Astra. Same prompt, very different bills 💸 The prompt: build a 3D jelly canal with a lock, a boat, and a windmill, right in the browser. Opus 5.5 took almost an hour. The water physics and colors are the standout: the jelly canal feels alive, and the lock, the boat, and the countryside look like a real miniature world. GPT-6 Astra went for a cleaner “diorama” look, with a cutaway view of the water and terrain. API cost: Claude Opus 5.5 - $28.85 (~1 hour) GPT-6 Astra - $19.83 For visuals, I’m picking Opus 5.5.
