The AWS Ohio fetches and vLLM/GLM5Next build describe exposed infrastructure, not ownership. They don't prove https://Z.ai built Union Alpha. Sakana/Fugu is also unconfirmed. We cannot yet name the operator, exact checkpoints or complete model pool.
I was wrong to pin Union Alpha on https://Z.ai/GLM. Cloudflare describes a multi-model ensemble: several models run in parallel and their answers are combined. Our fingerprints didn't establish who built it or which models are inside. https://developers.cloudflare.com/ai/models/stealth/union-alpha/
