I’m starting to think the AI race is becoming less about individual model launches and more about how quickly labs can push the frontier forward. Two weeks after Argon, Gemini 4 Carbon is already showing progress in coding, long-horizon tasks, and cybersecurity. What interests me most is the security side. More capable models can help defenders find and patch vulnerabilities, but that capability needs to be handled responsibly. Faster progress is exciting. Making that progress safe enough to deploy is the real challenge.
