Holders of tokenized Mag 7 stocks deposited $9.57M on Aave on @base and borrowed $4.08M $USDC. 3 out of every 4 of them were new to @aave. Mastercard also launched Agent Pay for Machines on Base with Cloudflare: AI agents pay for digital services using x402. According to research from Coinbase and The Block, sending $200 in USDC on Base is about 86% cheaper than traditional services. Liquidity keeps growing too: Morpho Midnight passed $100M in deposits, Spark supplied $400M USDC to the cbBTC/USDC market, and Aero launched as Aerodrome’s unified liquidity layer. Usually a new product just moves the same users around. Here, stocks are bringing new people into DeFi.
