Cloudflare 生日周:Traces 开放测试与可观测性八项更新
Cloudflare 上线跨平台请求追踪 Traces 开放测试,并更新日志、SQL API、计费与 MCP 接入等八项可观测性能力。
Happy Friday and welcome to the final day of Cloudflare's Birthday Week 2026! Today we have: 🕵 Cloudflare Traces open beta 🔎 EIGHT major updates to Cloudflare Observability 🔐 OHTTP Gateway ⚡️ Protected Quick Tunnels 🌱 Cloudflare features for everyone 🛡️ Account abuse dashboard 🏘️ Civil society organizations automating on CF ⏱️ 2026 Network Performance Update We have a bit of everything today, so let's take a closer look! 🕵 Cloudflare Traces open beta I remember when I started using Cloudflare many years ago, way before I joined Cloudflare, there was zero observability except a real-time log viewer Fast forward to today, and the level of observability you get is pretty insane - logs, traces, alerts, you name it, we have it. Starting today, you can now see traces for a request across the entire Cloudflare platform. That includes security rules, transformations, cache decisions, routing, Worker execution, your origin and more. You can choose how many traces to sample, accept and forward W3C traceparent headers, view full traces in the dashboard and export to OTel. It's available in open beta today! 🔎 EIGHT major updates to Cloudflare Observability Cloudflare Traces was the biggest addition to the observability platform today, but there are a range of other improvements landing too, including: - A new home for all your logs in one place, combining Workers logs with Log Explorer - Unified SQL API for observability data via the new cf CLI, MCP and Workers binding - A new, simplified billing model for all observability data. For free users, you get 0.5GB of ingestion per day, retained up to 7 days. For paid/enterprise, it's 50GB of ingestion with 10GB-month storage. Beyond that, it's $0.25 per GB ingested and $0.10 per GB-month stored - You can now define custom alerts based on observability signals based on threshold, anomaly, or SLO - 30 days of domain analytics on every plan - Custom dashboards - Logpush is now available on all self-serve plans There's more coming soon too, such as longer retention, OTel support and more. 🔐 OHTTP Gateway Cloudflare is launching a closed beta of a managed OHTTP Gateway, which allows you to securely accept requests without seeing any identifying information about the end user. There's two parts, with the OHTTP Relay seeing a user’s network details, such as their IP address, but forwards only encrypted request data. The OHTTP Gateway decrypts the request so it can reach the app, but doesn’t see the user’s network details. It's in closed beta today, with a waitlist available. ⚡️ Protected Quick Tunnels Cloudflare Tunnels has been making waves lately as the easiest way to expose your local development environment to the outside world. This naturally means anyone who has that link can access what's being exposed on your local machine. That's where protected Quick Tunnels come in, which allow you to restrict access via a new --allowed-mail flag. Visitors must then verify their email with an OTP before being allowed to access whatever is being exposed locally. 🌱 Cloudflare features for everyone Last year, Cloudflare made the pledge to make every enterprise-locked feature available to everyone. Today, Cloudflare is updating on that progress. Here's how Cloudflare is giving everyone access to its developer platform: - Available beyond enterprise: Logpush, Logpush Transformers, Custom Dashboards, Terraform, resource tagging, broader RBAC, self-serve account creation (and more!) - Higher limits: Expanded limits across Workers, Dynamic Workers, Containers, Workflows, Browser Run, Vectorize, Pages, AI Search, Durable Objects, API Shield, Security Insights (and more!) - Billing tools: Non-Enterprise customers can use a billable-usage dashboard and API, plus budget alerts. And of course, Cloudflare is not stopping there and will continue on its pledge to make everything available to everyone. 🛡️ Account abuse dashboard With the rise in AI comes the rise of security risks. Anyone can open a coding agent and try to poke holes in any applications exposed on the web, or try to get into any number of online accounts. That's why Cloudflare is introducing a new Account Abuse Protection dashboard. This helps fraud teams spot suspicious login and signup patterns by tracking account activity over time. 🏘️ Civil society organizations automating on CF Cloudflare is providing more than $7.5 million in developer credits and engineering support to help civil-society nonprofits build secure AI and automation tools. There's a range of projects, including local journalism, mental-health counseling as well as tools to track transnational repression, monitor policy changes, and assess human-rights risks. Applications are now open for the second cohort of this initiative! ⏱️ 2026 Network Performance Update Each Birthday Week, Cloudflare gives a report on the performance of its network, and how it compares to its peers. This year, Cloudflare was the fastest provider in 74% of the world’s 1,000 largest networks in August, up from 60% in April. This ranking is based on real connection times, and Cloudflare has gained the lead in 150 more networks. There's a lot more detail and information in the post, so go give it a read! --- That rounds out Birthday Week, but it's been a blast. The amount of effort that goes into a Birthday Week is insane, and it's been amazing to see it from behind the scenes. A final shoutout to everyone who released something for Birthday Week + everyone who made the week possible behind the scenes! What was your favourite announcement of the week?
