I think one of the most interesting AI battles is starting to form between $AMZN and $META. Meta’s Muse wants to become the AI agent that shops for you. Amazon just blocked Muse from shopping on Amazon. At the same time, Amazon is making its own AI tools far more agentic, with Seller Assistant now monitoring inventory, pricing, ads and account health 24/7. This is bigger than another AI feature. If AI agents become the new way people shop online, whoever controls that interface could have a massive advantage. Amazon clearly doesn’t want to give that up.
