用户对比 Claude Duet 与 Muse 等 24/7 助理,认为 Duet 困在自家云端,看不到本地已有的机器人流水线,反而制造第二个决策中心。

I’ve been playing with Claude Duet, @AnthropicAI’s answer to @Muse /@bot and I think these 24/7 bots are missing out on an opportunity: inventing the perfect COO for power users. Duet lives in Anthropic’s cloud with a browser and a morning brief. It is simple and boring. But a lot of power user like myself’s work lives on a machine that already holds the bots, the job board, the pin, the finance tools, and the rules. A second agent that can’t see that stack just invents a second place for decisions. I already fought hard to build one consistent pipeline. Why would I want to deal with another bot, in another world? Especially when there are this many 24/7 agentic bot options now? So I’m not mad at Duet. I’m annoyed at how this whole wave is being sold. These AI companies keep landing as “always-on personal agents” for professionals and small businesses. The demos are always household-adjacent. You know, briefs, schedules, shopping with an approval tap. That’s fine for someone with no bot fleet, I understand. But a lot of us already built fleets. We run vertical and horizontal pipelines. Content, ops, finance, community, research. Named roles that hand work to each other. And in almost all of these cases, someone has to be the general manager of that system. Someone has to take Telegram or Slack pings at 1am, decide which bot moves, and keep one memory of the rules. Right now that someone is me, plus a chat app that was never designed for this. Why bolt an external chat layer onto a 24/7 agent that could be the perfect COO? If these products leaned into that job, coordinating many specialized workers, owning the decision surface, talking to you on the go without inventing a second HQ, they’d matter more to the people actually building production systems with AI. Instead they keep fighting over who owns the household assistant slot. That’s a smaller market than they think, especially for Anthropic because their audience is less households and more creators/inventors/tinkerers.
