🚨BREAKING SHIT: OpenAI has parted ways with THREE researchers on its safety team for allegedly sharing confidential company information with a third-party AI-safety organization. OpenAI says an internal investigation found they “mishandled sensitive information outside established company procedures,” violating company policy and breaking trust. This comes in the same week OpenAI scrapped the planned release of GPT-6.1 Astra over safety concerns.
