Grok Bot、Muse、Cue、Instinct、dots 长得都一样?
作者指出五款个人助理底层能力高度趋同,差异在定位:Grok Bot 做职场队友、Muse 做日常与社交、Cue 做商家接口、Instinct 做生活杂务。
Can we all agree that every personal agent looks the same? 😂 Grok Bot, Muse, Cue, Instinct, and now OpenAI’s dots all share a similar tech stack under the hood: cloud computers, long-term memory, connected apps, proactive and scheduled tasks, and approval controls. Many have voice interfaces too. Even their UIs look similar (and of course every agent has to be cute!) The capabilities are converging fast because these are the core requirements for reliable delegation. An agent needs an identity to act through, the ability to use tools, persistent memory, app integrations, and clear authority boundaries. Most of these capabilities are becoming table stakes, and the real differentiation is moving a layer up. 🎯 The competition is just getting started. Each agent is now trying to own a distinct position in users’ lives. * Grok Bot is leaning into AI teammates and workplace collaboration. * Muse is embedding itself into our daily lives and eyeing a social network between humans and agents. * Cue is exploring whether it can become a new interface between users and businesses. * Instinct is focused on everyday life admin, with almost no new interface at all. Dots is the hardest one to place. So far, it looks like the broadest bet: turning ChatGPT into an always-on agent you can delegate ongoing responsibility to. Its obvious advantage is distribution. OpenAI already has the user relationship, context, and habit inside ChatGPT. But I’d give it a few more days before deciding what its distinct position really is. I don’t think this personal agent war will be won by model quality alone. The model still shapes how the product feels when people first use it: speed, accuracy, judgment, and personality. But * Distribution gets the agent into your life * UX determines whether you keep using it * Integrations determine what it can actually do * Trust determines how much authority it earns Economics may be the most underrated factor. A proactive agent can do work even when you haven’t actively asked it to. That turns AI from a user-triggered compute cost into an ongoing operating cost. This competition won’t just be about who builds the best agent, but also who can afford to let it keep working. This is going to be a great competition to watch. Grab your popcorn. 🍿 If you had to choose today, which agent would you bet on, and why?
