The most useful part of my new website might be the lines between the projects: one connects 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿, which tracks changes in the rules of digital services, with 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗢’s approach to AI governance. It raises a practical question: 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱? Other connections lead into privacy research, books and digital education. 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 forming around a concern that runs through my work: how we use technology while retaining our own judgement. That is what cognitive sovereignty means to me: I built the site to make these connections visible and give my work a clearer direction. The lines reflect how I currently understand the work, and they are open to discussion.
