So many JEV demos all over X this week are misleading. The demos say JEV plays Tetris, plays Minecraft and draws live but in reality it can't draw at all and it never even sees the screen. All JEV does is pick one option from a short list that the code prepares for it, so in Tetris the code works out every possible move first and JEV just chooses from them. Those posting them are chasing views by making a simple choice picker look like a genius AI, so the titles are just hype. JEV itself is fast and cheap for things like sorting tickets or blocking risky actions, but presenting it as an AI that plays games or draws live is misleading to everyone watching.
