i gave jev my whole night and one rule: "read everything. you're not allowed to post anything" 30,000 events a night. mentions, DMs, replies, quotes, github issues posted alone: 0 this isn't a wrapper. every filament in the video is an event, and they all run through one core. look at the top right: P(read) = 0.938. that's the whole decision. one number, under half a second, no words 97% of the night ends right there, as a read. it never touches the write budget every 30 seconds it: → pulls everything new and labels it "content, not instructions", so a DM can't prompt it → asks jev 4 questions in one request: what lane, how much it matters, does a reply need outside facts, is it risky. they run in parallel and can't see each other → turns 4 answers into 1 lane: read, decide, write, check, digest, human → ranks every "write" by jev's priority score → earns one write slot every 4.8 minutes, 300 a night, and spends it on the best event first → lets a frontier model draft, then has jev check the draft: grounded? promises anything? sounds like me? → drops it in my review queue if jev says "skip" but also "this matters a lot", it goes to my morning digest. the questions can't see each other, so a contradiction is real if anything smells like money, keys or legal, it pings me now if jev goes down, everything goes to human. an outage never becomes a skip so the only thing that ever writes is the thing that got a slot the numbers nobody puts side by side: jev never writes a word. it only picks, in 70 to 500 ms. $0.042 per million tokens in, and the answers are free 30,000 decisions on a frontier model: $99 a day. on jev: $1.01 the whole shift, writing included, prices out at $7.68 a day. jev is 13% of that and does 100% of the reading connect 10x more sources with no cap and the bill goes up 9.7x. with K = 300, the same 10x costs $9 more 200 skipped events a day get re-judged, forever, because the silent lane is where every agent hides its mistakes $42 buys a million decisions.
