I did a large scale comparison of Jev by @typesafeai against the new Clef models from @Cloudflare and GLiDE and GLiNER models by @fastinoAI using synthetic open ended text responses inspired by my real-life work, and the results were surprising Jev is the clear winner for consumer text analysis, providing equal quality at a fraction of the cost and time It's also ZDR through the Vercel Gateway Perhaps things will shape up better for the other models in practice as they mature, but right now Jev is the obvious choice
