After releasing Fable and Astra, US frontier labs are now thinking of slowing down. Except the Gemma family, no labs are working on open source and releasing papers like Chinese models. I'm 100% sure that when Anthropic lists an IPO, Chinese labs will release major models again to challenge benchmarks and achieve AGI. Same for OpenAI. When the US wants, they accelerate releases and restrict usage, but when it comes to the community and open source with the same benchmarks, they try to destabilize the internet with opinions.
