Opus 5.5 在 Blender 里造 20 公里火星地形
用 Opus 5.5 驱动 Blender 生成火星陨石坑网格,模拟一整个火星日的日照,找出整天不见光的霜冻斜坡。
Opus 5.5 built a 20 km slice of Mars in Blender, ran the Sun across one full sol, and found the slopes where frost survives the whole day The craters were the easy part. The point is that every shadow is computed, not painted, so the cold lands exactly where the geometry puts it. > MESH - 1,048,576 vertices shaped to Martian crater proportions: depth about a fifth of the width, raised rims, rampart ejecta, layered mesas > SOL - the Sun driven from sunrise to sunset in northern winter, never climbing past 28° > FROST - every slope that never takes direct light, ranked across 405 samples of the day A pretty render can fake the light. It cannot fake where the light never arrives. The pole-facing crater walls are the interesting part. The rim blocks every angle the winter Sun can reach, so those slopes sit near 148 K, the temperature where CO₂ freezes straight out of the air. The same pass flags the opposite too: ridges that stay lit almost all sol. That is where a lander would put its panels. Blender is free. Python drives it. The geometry does the arguing. Stop using 3D to illustrate the answer. Use it to find one.
