I still really don't understand why OpenAI launched dots. This post from Tibo clearly shows that they are still experimenting and learning how all this is set up and how it will go. WHICH IS FINE. The thing that isn't fine is how they pushed Dots. Tibo and OpenAI clearly know that it is not fully done, users see how rushed and can feel it in their day to day use. So if we all know this, then why does OpenAI largely and galdly announce Dots at DevDay. If you know your product isn't even ready and everything is half rushed, then why launch it to the public (poor Europeans, I know some of yall don't have access to it). If you think that you need more time or want to experiment, then add it as an optional testing programme or something like that. Not launch it into the world half baked and then you have to defend yourself when people start giving you heavy backlash for how bad of an implementation this is. https://x.com/lucastohdev/status/2105231131327234456
