Who needs Neuralink when Claude Duet can put you in the Matrix? The Matrix needed a plug in your head. The new version only needs you to connect your inbox. To be useful, AI agents like Claude Duet and Grokbot need your email, calendar, files and bank account. Then that data gets used for ads, hacks, subpoenas, and worst of all, a reality tailored to you on the screen you stare at all day. I’m an AI optimist, which is why I spent 40 minutes on how this goes wrong and what to do instead.
