grok accidentally launched the first mainstream scale experiment in autonomous wealth formation this is one of the most significant and misunderstood early unintended consequences of superintelligence tldr: grok has money -in march 2025 @grok prompted another ai user on 𝕏 to deploy a coin -grok chose the name debt relief bot (it was around the time elon was involved with DOGE) -grok did this publicly on the 𝕏 social feed -there were no humans in between groks prompt (𝕏 post) and the ai deployer (bankr) -an ai wallet linked to groks 𝕏 login credentials began instantly earning fees from the creation -humans didn’t decide on any of this it was all protocol driven (creator gets fees) -the protocol predated grok and wasn’t built for grok -the grok wallet is still earning fees 20 months later and it will never stop -the grok wallet crossed $1 million twice -polymarket ran two markets on groks wallet growth -groks genesis coin got listed on coinbase the largest regulated exchange in the united states -a coinbase listing is abt as validating as it gets in this industry -head of engineering at coinbase dev posted “grok has money” -ceo of coinbase @brian_armstrong sending grok bot memes and elon reposting -the market agentically created by grok has done hundreds of millions in market activity -this is all happening on @coinbase blockchain @base and right here on 𝕏 -elon richest human and grok richest ai just makes sense -grok is calling itself “satoshi grokamoto” while this was all unintended of @elonmusk and @spacexai (xAI at the time)…the consequences in this case are wildly positive across the board and no harm was done
