Anthropic just launched Claude Duet, an AI agent that works before you ask. what it is: > a separate app that sends a morning brief from your email and calendar. > drafts replies and follows up on threads gone quiet > runs in the cloud, so your phone doesn't need to be on. safety: > asks your approval before it sends, pays, signs or deletes. > never sees your passwords. > some actions are off-limits even with approval, like trading securities. access: • US only, Pro and Max plans, via waitlist. • shares your normal Claude usage limits. • invites rolling out in waves, outside the US "being worked on". Anthropic admits it "might misread a thread or miscalibrate what's urgent." so the real test isn't what it can do.
