I checked the explorer again on @vangrid_io. Numbers moved since last week. Captures crossed 1,157,420. Settlements at $485,564. That's up from $425k a week ago. Settlement volume is climbing faster than raw capture count, which is the number that actually means something. But here's what I keep sitting with. The agent side is live now. An AI agent can post a bounty or pull attested data with one HTTP call, pay in USDC on Base through x402. No account, no API key, no traditional platform layer. A machine requests something it can't see. A person happens to be nearby and captures it. Software hiring a human with legs. That's not a metaphor anymore. It's a functioning loop. The gap it fills is the boring one nobody else wants to touch. Satellites see roofs. Mapping fleets see drivable roads. Nobody sees the loading dock that changed last week, the stairwell, the warehouse aisle. Simulation can't invent a city it's never seen. Device attestation and collateralized review are still marked not-live on the roadmap. But the demand side is clearing real money without a token. That part isn't a slide.
