Jev reads the intercom transcript and picks: delivery, guest, stranger, solicitor. the right automation fires. no if-else chain. alert routing - 3 questions in one Jev call. urgency score, category choice, action required yes/no. 3 different notification paths. one request. the cost that replaces a $200/month smart home platform: every question costs fractions of a cent. a daily token budget halts evaluation if you set one. the integration tracks calls, tokens and estimated cost per day in a sensor you can put on your dashboard. 13 worked examples in the repo. 4 of them pair Jev with an LLM for the cases that need explanation. one honest caveat from the README: not for safety decisions. a probability with no rationale should not hold a lock, a heater, or a smoke alarm.
