Opus 5.2 & GPT-6 Sol Both Coming This Month - GPT-6 Sol is internally being tested and has already been spotted in the OpenAI API. It will be faster and sit in the middle of cost and performance, making it better for most users than Astra on cost and limits. - Opus 5.2 is now routing from Opus 5 in Claude Code for some users. It looks faster, cleaner, and less lazy than Opus 5. - The model slug is Opus 5.2, not 5.1, so this could be the next Opus update. - For me, Sol >> for daily work. Opus 5.2 is still a much-needed upgrade after how bad Opus 5 felt. - Anthropic also needs a strong model if they're serious about going public this year.
