openai and google just announced a partnership to bring openai’s models to google cloud gpt-6 astra, gpt-6.1 sol, and gpt-6 luna are rolling out in private preview to enterprise customers in google cloud’s model garden right now, with general availability coming in the next few weeks google cloud now hosts gemini, claude, and gpt-6 models all in one place. they’re calling it the only hyperscale cloud offering all three leading closed-source models on a single platform enterprises can use the models through google cloud’s apis and connect their codex workflows directly to google’s gemini platform for inference. it all goes on one google cloud invoice this is two companies that compete on models agreeing to share infrastructure because enterprise customers don’t want to manage five different cloud relationships
