Meta's app review. TikTok's audit. WhatsApp onboarding. carrier registration for SMS. weeks of forms for an action the model finished in a second. so what actually gates an agent today isn't intelligence. it's permission. that's the part Zernio took: 1) 16 social platforms, plus WhatsApp and iMessage. 2) real phone numbers you buy inside it, with calls and SMS on top. 3) ads on 7 networks, from Meta to OpenAI. 4) the integrations, the reviews, the tokens and the rate limits on their side. and two ways in: a REST API if you're the one building, an MCP server and a CLI if your agent is. the part people underestimate is the maintenance. the first integration is a weekend. the problem is that every one of those platforms changes its API, rotates its scopes and moves its limits, forever, and you don't find out until something stops posting on a launch day. that's why this reads as infrastructure and not as a feature. nobody writes their own auth anymore. nobody writes their own payments. distribution is on that same list now. creating the message stopped being the hard part a while ago. getting it out is the whole game.
