$0.44 vs $5.65 for a 3D bee. And the cheap one looks like a macro photo. Kimi K3.1 vs GPT-6 Astra: same prompt, same scene, wildly different prices. Kimi K3.1: $0.44 GPT-6 Astra: $5.65 That’s almost 13x more for Astra. Here’s what came back: Kimi K3.1: an iridescent shell that shifts from emerald to blue, fine hairs covering the head and thorax, textured compound eyes and see-through wings. Zoom in and it holds up like a real macro shot. GPT-6 Astra: a clean, smooth green bee with big simple eyes and flat plastic-looking surfaces. Tidy and readable, but it looks like a toy next to Kimi. The close-up is what sold it for me. At full zoom, Kimi’s fur and metallic sheen still hold. Astra’s bee turns into smooth shapes. For value, it isn’t even close. I’m going with Kimi. Would you pay almost 13x more for the smooth one?
