Day 4 of 30: testing a different AI tool for creative work every day. Today it’s @trymelius. Pros: - Integrates with @SlackHQ, and you can add the Melius MCP connector to ChatGPT or @claudeai to route prompts through dozens of third-party models - With MCP, you can mostly skip the node-based canvas - In a ChatGPT conversation, it quickly suggested 4 kitchen scenes, lighting, props and compositions Cons: - I still had to go back to the canvas to upload reference images myself - It took a few rounds to follow simple direction, like a 4:5 crop and the “Sunlit Kitchen Hero” concept I picked - Brand assets weren’t reliably preserved. Even with repeated instructions, the Air logo and my selected image kept drifting, which meant rework Overall: great for exploring ideas and building workflows quickly. Let me know if you have tips for creating more powerful multistep workflows without touching the canvas. Tomorrow is a new day.
